Clear rules for booking and refunds
Drivers choose how bookings are approved, and everyone knows up front what happens if plans change.
Request to book
The driver approves each request within 1 to 24 hours. Your payment is only captured once they accept, and you can withdraw your request before approval at no charge.
Instant book
Your seat is confirmed straight away and payment is taken immediately. Instant bookings follow the standard cancellation policy.
If a passenger cancels
- More than 12 hours before departure Full refund of the contribution The booking fee may be kept.

Know who you're travelling with
Drivers go through KYC verification, including driving licence and vehicle registration checks, before offering rides. They can track their verification status right in the app.

Is WayloShare a taxi or cab service?
No. WayloShare is a technology platform for non-commercial carpooling. Drivers share empty seats on trips they are already making, and the contribution passengers pay only covers costs like fuel, tolls and wear and tear. Drivers are not allowed to make a profit.
Who can use WayloShare?
Anyone aged 18 or older who can enter a binding contract under Indian law. You sign in with your mobile number, and drivers also complete identity and vehicle verification.
How is the price per seat decided?
WayloShare suggests a contribution based on things like distance, vehicle category, estimated fuel use and tolls. Drivers can set their contribution only within the limits WayloShare allows, which keeps prices fair.
How do I pay for a seat?
Online only, using UPI, a credit or debit card, or a wallet linked to the app. Cash and offline payments are not allowed. What you pay is the driver's contribution plus a small booking fee.
What happens if I cancel my booking?
Cancel more than 12 hours before departure and your full contribution is refunded (the booking fee may be kept). Cancel within 12 hours and the contribution becomes WayloShare Wallet Credit for a future booking. After departure, or if you don't show up, there is no refund.
What if the driver cancels?
If a driver cancels after you've booked, you get a full refund of both the contribution and the booking fee.
How and when do drivers get paid?
After the trip there is a four-day clearing period for disputes. Then the contribution is paid out by UPI (usually 0 to 2 business days) or bank transfer (2 to 5 business days), minus a payout fee.
What does the verified badge mean?
It means the driver completed WayloShare's verification, including driving licence and vehicle registration checks. It is not a guarantee of anyone's conduct, so meet sensibly and use in-app chat to plan your trip.
How do I delete my account?
You can request deletion at any time by writing to info@wayloshare.com. We delete or anonymise your data, except records we must keep by law, for example for tax or fraud prevention.
